Save the Date! ABC’s 19th Golf Tournament Fundraiser, May 16 2015

A Better Chance (ABC) of Wilton is pleased to announce that their popular fundraiser will be held at Wilton’s own Rolling Hills Country Club. Now in its 19th year, this successful event will bring together golfers to support the ABC program on May 16th, 2016. New event Co-Chairs, George Davala and John Morneau changed the venue to Wilton as it was important to host the tournament in Wilton, for a Wilton program.

Davala stated, “We are thrilled to host the Golf Tournament at Rolling Hills and believe it will be a challenging venue, yet fun course for all players.” Morneau added “The support of the Wilton community is imperative to the success of our program. We appreciate all the time and dedication of our volunteers and donors.”

To be held on May 16th, the event includes lunch, a shotgun start and a cocktail reception after the tournament.  A variety of prizes will be awarded for exceptional play over the beautiful, well-conditioned Rolling Hills eighteen-hole layout. The price for the outing will be $350 per player.

Proceeds from the event will go directly to support ABC of Wilton’s mission to help transform the lives of academically talented minority students with financial needs by providing them with the opportunity for a superior education at the Wilton High School. The program currently has 12 scholars and is funded only by the Wilton community. A total of 35 scholars have graduated from Wilton High School and 100% have gone on to college.  For more information about our scholars, please visit: https://www.abcwilton.org/our-scholars/
